TSL Week 3 Results:
TSL week 3 continued to widen the gap in the standings between the teams that started strong and the ones that faltered. Red Alert maintained its strong lead with a 3-0 over Mortal Legion. Due Prejudice pushed ahead with a 3-0 over Praxeum. Eclipsis took a 3-0 over Skillosophy. Meanwhile, middle-standings 7th Fleet got a much-needed boost from their 3-0 victory over Lucky Punch. The most dramatic match of the week– 21Z vs Cookie, was unfortunately cut short after just 1 game, with the remaining matches rescheduled.
TSL Week 4 Results:
Red Alert continued to cement its lead with a 3-0 win over Lucky Punch. 7th Fleet also 3-0’ed Unwanted. Praxeum took two wins off Mortal Legion, but the third match has been rescheduled. Likewise, Due Prejudice is up 2-0 against Skillosophy with the third match rescheduled. The closest match of the week was Eclipsis vs 21Z, which Eclipsis won 2-1, dropping 21Z to 4th place and catapulting ECL up to second. 7th fleet and Cookie (especially Cookie, who has played 5 less games than the front-running Red Alert), at 6 wins each, still in a position to push up to the top four , but it’s starting to look grim for Skillosphy, Lucky Punch, Praxeum, Mortal Legion, and Unwanted as the season approaches its midpoint.
Closely matched series to look forward to in week 5 include Cookie vs 7th and Due Prejudice vs 21Z. Upsets in either of those matchups could catapult at team in or out of the top 4.
